Who is the course for?
To provide healthcare support workers and adult social care workers with an overview of the subject, enabling an understanding of Care Planning.

Level 2 award enables learners to achieve the standard required, knowledge and understanding of a subject relevant to their own work setting.

Care planning, involvement and person-centred care
This section explores four key themes that are central to care planning: involvement, and keeping the wishes of the person at the centre of their care and support. It emphasises that building relationships and good communication are critical to meaningful involvement.
