A healthy and safe working environment for lone workers can be different from organising the health and safety of other employees. They should not be put at more risk than other people working for you.
It will often be safe to work alone. However, the law requires employers to think about and deal with any health and safety risks before people are allowed to do so. The personal safety of a lone worker is extremely important as they are at high risk.
The Lone Working Training Course will identify what the risks are to their personal safety and what good working practices can be used to keep them safe.
The aims of this training course are for learners to understand;
How to define violence and aggression in the workplace and reporting incidents
Reducing risks by using practical advice and strategies including the use of tracing systems and how to make them effective
Review the methods of transport with tips and advice to take away and action
How to control your own behaviour in stressful situations
