Basic Life Support Training (Including CPR) in Leicestershire

The Basic Life Support course is designed to ensure that your staff are able to deal with emergencies until such time that the emergency service has arrived. It is also an ideal course to help keep your staff updated and also provides an opportunity for them to ask questions to their instructor and peers. 


The course complies with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2005.


Course Aims

The aims of this training course are for learners to understand:

  • Managing Incidents

  • Basic Life Support

  • Control of Bleeding

  • Choking

  • Unconsciousness

  • Stroke

  • Burns

  • Treating shock

  • Bleeding

  • Epilepsy

  • Fracturesractures
